Malala Sample Essay

Malala Sample EssayFor girls, Malala, a Pakistani girl, has become a global hero after she was shot by the Taliban and grievously injured while campaigning for girls' education. Her powerful message of peace has been powerful in raising the status of girls education around the world. Students around the world have expressed their admiration towards her saying, 'Malala's a blessing, Malala is a blessing'.The writer, while being enrolled in a college at Delhi University, was asked to write a Malala sample essay. I was very much interested and was of the opinion that this would be an honor for me and a great source of inspiration. The essay is a very simple one that is essentially based on the argument that the right of all people to determine their own destiny is reflected in the right of every child to learn and pursue his/her interests. In other words, all children are born equal, one is given birth, one is made and one is taught. This is followed by the statement that the right of the person to practice information presentation or any other activity, must be protected and maintained by the government. After which, I was asked to draw three examples of a child who had achieved greatness through hard work, creativity and perseverance. It was also asked if she thinks of Malala as an inspiration. After this, a few questions were put in front of me that seeking my opinions on these three situations. My response to all these questions was that I thought that I would make the most of my little essay by using these three examples and trying to develop a new vocabulary. These three examples could represent very unique experiences that my daughter could relate to such as what a typical day is like for a child who cannot choose his/her own destiny. In fact, I find it difficult to find any commonality between the writer of the Malala sample essay and me. My daughter too is creative and playful, I am also creative, but we have a totally different view on the same subject. Now, the above essay, like all others, can be downloaded from the web site I mentioned above. One of the topics that these essays are often about is drawing similar situations and creative responses.
